The guy is one of our role models in life – he was the test driver for the Italian company for no less than four decades. And does he retire in glory with that model named after him?
No, he goes out with a bang – putting the basis of a company that sells Lamborghini tuning parts. The guy was hired by the company back in September 1973 his very first test drive for the new employer was in one of the last Miura SVs ever produced. Doing this for four decades has earned the respect of the company – who delivered the Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni. The famous Lambo development and test driver has decided to continue his connection with the Raging Bull via his own company.
Called “VB”, the firm will cater for owners looking for exclusive aftermarket products tailored to Lamborghini models. The first item is a titanium exhaust system exclusively for the Aventador SuperVeloce – the lightweight tuning piece will be unveiled on August 20 in California at the Concorso Italiano during the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. It tips the scales at 13.8 pounds (6.3 kilograms) thanks to titanium and comes with spectacular design and a promise for “a new dimension in sound” – just 350 units will be produced.
